Yes! I Have Been Reading About Cancer Stem Cells. They Seem To Tolerate Chemo And Can Cause Recurrence? What Can Be Done To Stop Recurrence?

I had DCIS stage 1. Have it removed now doing 8 rounds chemo and then radiation. I am stressing on it returning at anytime! Surgeon said I have 95% cure. But I am doubting it if it's chemo-resistant!

Yes, cancer stem cells are chemo resistant and most people will have those after cancer treatment. There are certain liquid biopsies that can test those in your blood, but CSCs can also reside in your marrow. Alternative therapies are available to try and kill or reduce those. I have heard that hyperthermia, high-dose vit C IV combined with doxycycline and a few other therapies are used by integrative clinics. There are also a few trials now going on where various repurposed drugs such as hydrochloroquine are being tested to see how effective they are in killing CSCs (Penn Medical is one place).
A good book to read is Cracking Cancer Toolkit. You can also Google or even use ChatGPT to find other studies and research. If you start to dig deeper, you’ll find quite a bit of info. There’s definitely some research that has shown high effectiveness of Vit C and doxycycline plus azythromicyne. But you need to find a doctor who will do this for you. Start researching and empowering yourself. Healthy diet and healing emotional wounds are paramount to keep your immune system strong. I am a big believer that we need to clear as much emotional baggage as we can and stop any toxic relationships if we want to continue to be healthy after treatment. All the best to you.
