Anyone Else Using A FitBit Tracker?

A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭
Ontario, OR

I just bought a Fitbit One to help me get motivated to exercise more and track my eating/exercise. I'm in SERIOUS need of motivation. Just wondering if there are any other Fitbit users here who would like to work together. :-)

So I just got one last week... like one other commenter said, it is a bit of an obsession right now. It gives you a goal of 10,000 steps per day and I can say that it motivates me to get up and move. But that I also will walk around the house for awhile in the evening if I need to go a little further to reach my goal :)

So it's great! But also a little, evil exercise master!

I love my Fitbit! I've had one for over 2 years. I use it to monitor sleep, use the website to calculate calories and the step and stair tracker to motivate me to do a little more each day. I have pretty significant arthritis, so the extra motivation to move is great. Of the many gadgets I've tried over the years (and I'm a real geek when it comes to tech toys), the FitBit has to be my favorite and one that I've continued to use.

Well, I ordered the one with the sleep monitor for $89.99 with free shipping. I think I ordered from heartratemonitor.com. Then, (this is how bad I am), I got just the pedometer version at my Meijer for $59.99 but it gave me $20 off my next store purchase. When I get a chance, I'll have to follow this thread a little more and join the "group". I think I like this because even if you're not feeling great it'll give you a little extra motivation. Thanks GaileenJW!

@ LoriS-- YES! Much more accurate. Plus it logs hills/stairs via an altimeter, also you can sync your foods/water intake, it logs your sleep patterns, etc. It works great for me. Motivates me to do better with my eating as well as getting some exercise. :-)
