I asked my doctor for a list & they said they don't have one, it would be too long. Just no raw fruits, veggies or meat. Well that helps!

I resorted to lots of lightly flavored water and protein shakes.

I agree with @A MyBCTeam Member. I lost my appetite literally 1 hr after my first AC treatment. Then after that I had that metal taste while eating. I had my hubby buy me plastic silverware to eat with cuz the regular ones made the metal taste worse. But my doctor told me to eat whatever I was craving. I ate a lot of Chinese food cuz that's all I wanted. But everyone is different. Good luck!

I have only had 1 round of TC (2nd is next week). A couple of days after chemo, water tasted slightly off (not metallic) but that is now gone. My favorite dark chocolate almonds also tasted bad for a few days. I pretty much eat everything I normally eat - lots of fresh fruits and veggies (raw & cooked) with some meat. Of course, I was told not to eat raw fruits/veggies if my WBC count get too low but knock on wood, they have remained good. About 1 week after treatment my mouth started feeling "off" (but no sores) - I made up a water/baking soda/salt rinse and used it for 2 days after each meal followed by plain water rinse and now use it at the end of the day and have not had any mouth issues.

My doctor gave me a book in all of my information called "eating well thru cancer". It's on amazon for $19.96. I haven't looked thru a lot if it yet but appears to have some good tips and recipes for during and after treatment.
