For those of you who have had radiation and an exchange reconstruction surgery, how do they look? Are you happy with your result?

I had a BMX with immediate silicone permanent implants. I am very happy with the results....far exceeded my expectation!

Radiation can cause various problems with expanders/implants. My best friend opted to have the implant removed and did DIEP flap procedure 4 years later. I didn't have radiation but wasn't a candidate for DIEP so implant was my only option and I am not thrilled with it. My chest muscle spasms all the time and bit doesn't look natural at all. I am 4 years since implant was placed.
