I wore a bra without boning and with a larger cup than I usually wear. This time, after the MX and reduction, there's nothing to support--- plus, I couldn't have a second course of radiation. I have settled in on wearing the all-ver stretch "as seen on TV." I like them.

I wore stretchy camisoles under my shirts instead of bras. The bras definitely would have irritated my breast. Those stretch bras should be ok until you get to the third or fourth week.

I wore a loose fitting sports bra- couldn't wear regular bra after lumpectomy or through radiation. The rough cotton hospital also really irritated my skin during radiation- That is why I designed and created an alternative radiation gown- made in a soft silky light polyester. If you want to see what I created- here is the website- www.theradiantwrap.com. It really helped me.
