I Got A Call From My Oncologist's Nurse Last Week. She Told Me My Liver Enzyme Was Elevated Tiny Bit.

I have been off of Arimidex for 2 weeks because my MO wants to make sure it's not caused by Arimidex. I am going to get a blood work again next Monday. Has anyone had elevated liver enzyme while being on Arimidex? And will you kindly explain what I need to concern about? Thank you in advance.
I really hope it's not so serious. Nothing´s more scary than a call from oncologist... ( ̄O ̄)

Update:
I got the result of the second blood work. It came back normal. My oncologist is going to change my AI med to Aromasin. I will need to have another blood work in January to see if I am doing fine with Aromasin.
Thanks for your reply, @A MyBCTeam Member.

I have never been on Arimidex, but my liver enzyme has been slightly elevated a few times during treatment. It always turned out not to be a big deal. Some medications can effect your liver enzyme level. When I saw my oncologist in September, she told me my liver enzyme came back slightly elevated so she wants to recheck it at my appointment in December. If Arimidex is causing your live enzyme to be elevated, your oncologist might change your meds. I wouldn't be too concerned about it yet.

Thank you! I am relieved. I'm going to pick up Aromasin tomorrow. Hope it will give me less side effect than Arimidex.
