WBC Count After Chemo
I finished chemo in September. I had blood work done last week and my WBC count was 2.7. Oncologist said it can take up to a year to get back up to normal. All of my other labs were normal (normal never felt so nice!), just wondering if anyone else's WBC count remained low for awhile.
I finished chemo in February. Started radiation last week. My wbc count is currently low. Helps me to know I am not alone.
I finished chemo in September of 2014. My white cells are still bouncing around! I feel terrific though. I try not to worry too much about it! It hovers around 3,9. Hope you are well!
@A MyBCTeam Member - in my rational mind I know I shouldn't worry bc the doctor didn't, nor did my mother who is a doctor, but hearing it from other women who have been there really helps! Thank you.
Mine did and it still runs on the low side of normal. I worried at first, but eventually I quit thinking about it since the Dr wasn't concerned.
My Chemo Was Canceled Because My White Blood Cell Count Was Very Low.
