Is There Any Sites On The Internet For My Loved One's To Help Them Threw This ?

My mom is really having a hard time with me having breast cancer, I feel so bad for her. She needs other people that are going threw this too. It makes it really hard for me to talk to her when I'm having a bad day, because I don't want to make things worse on her.

You need to tell your mom the bestest thing she can do for you is to be happy around you. When I first found out my husband was sad and depressed which made me feel bad too. So I told him that and OMG what a difference. I am staying positive through this because there are so many others and so many survivors!! Tell your mom not to feel guilty or depressed because you need her strong and healthy to help you..... her beautiful daughter, that will get through this and together smile and love everyday. I am half way through chemo and each day we get closer to kicking this! Support groups are listed at the Breast Center you are going to. Good luck and praying for you and your mom.......

Here's an FYI I recently stumbled across that I wanted to share: www.mothersdaughters.org is a national non-profit organization that provides support to mothers who have daughters diagnosed with breast cancer. Email address: [[email: [[email: (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) phone number (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). I read about this in a book titled "Stealing Second Base" by Lillie Shockney.

I called Susan G. Komen for you and asked. They have a co-survivor support group, I see it online.
http://ww5.komen.org/BreastCancer/FriendsampFam... The woman I spoke to also suggested calling these 3 numbers and let them know what you are interested in, online support, telephone or in person. (hope one helps)

Cancer care (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) http://www.cancercare.org/counseling
