Radiation Therapy
My Radiation treatments are very expensive.My Insurance is paying only half of it and I have to come up with the rest.Since I am on Social Security,my income is limited and housing as well as food etc. are now a luxury.
I don't know how I can deal with all the expenses. Does anybody know where I can get some HELP with the payments,for the treatments?
Erica. Put medical bills on the back burner. Even if you send them $25/month there is nothing they can do to you. Medical bills no longer show up on your credit report. Focus on getting better. You may also try contacting your state representative for suggestions
There is lots of help for cancer meds and treatments. Does wherever you get your treatment have a nurse navigator or social worker? They can help. You can also look on the Internet. I would start with American Cancer Society and Komen.

I am so sorry to hear the financial administrator is so nasty when you are going through something like breast cancer. I wish I had some helpful advice for you but even though we have insurance it only covers a small portion of the mounting bills coming in.
