I had 8 chemo treatments- taxotere. My hair started falling out on day 11 after my first treatment.

After 15 days from the first chemo, my hair was coming out in clumps. I just got out a bowl and a razor and shaved my head. I couldn't stand the hair coming out every time I showered.
One thing to remember is that the American Cancer Society provides wigs, hats and scarves for free to cancer patients. I had a wig, but it was itchy. I ended up just wearing a lot of scarves and hats.
One good thing came out of wearing a scarf. I had gone to dinner during treatment with my husband, and someone paid for our meal annonomously. It was so touching. Now if I have the money with me, I try to do the same when I see someone with a scarf on.
To me, being bald was one of the hardest things about cancer.

Mine started coming out 2 weeks after my first dose. :( Lost almost all of it by 2 1/2 weeks after 1st infusion.

I have not lost all of my hair and I will have my 6th and last round of TCH next week. It definitely thinned and I got a buzz cut after the 2nd round. It did thin a little more after that but not much.
