Wig Cap Under Your Wig Or Not??
The couple of beauty supply stores I shopped for wigs said I needed a cap under the wig but I just went to a specialty wig store that caters to cancer hair loss customers and she was different. She said I don't need the cap till my hair starts growing back in. We tried wigs on without a cap and it was so much lighter and more comfortable. Just wondered what everyone else's experience was - with or without cap underneath?
I wear a light weight wig cap all mesh. Keeps wig in place.
I wore a wig cap- my head was very sensitive & the wig seemed scratchy- kind of used the wig cap to help provide a cushion
I never wore a liner, and finally this week have enough hair so that I no longer need a wig (it won't stay on because of the hair) My liners gave me a headache once they were on for 15 min to 1/2 hour so I went without. I used a tea tree oil daily to keep scalp moisturized while wearing a wig.
I have and I found the the Henry Margu comfort cap. It is a mesh wig liner. Keeps wig from slipping. Oh, it is only about $4.50.
I have yet to find a wig liner that fits. They have been to tight.
