My periods stopped as soon as I started taking tamoxifen. I was told to expect this. I've been on tamoxifen for almost two years :-)

Mine stopped for 8 months and then returned with a vengeance. So bad and heavy I was anemic and getting nausea from just trying to function. That lasted 4 months. Then period was gone again for 5 months after a d&c and polyp removal from uterus. Came back one month. Now no period again. Weird. And I'm not in menopause. I have been checked.

Can I ask you did you stop taking the Tamoxifen for some reason or are you just finished with your course? The reason I am asking is because I am not too pleased with the side effects and was just wondering if anyone else was feeling the same way.

Mine stopped quickly and almost completely. I occasionally have one, but am not taking Tamoxifen anymore.

The chemo knocked it out for me. Didn't have to worry while on tomoxifen.
