Hi I took about 2000 mg of vitamin c every day, during chemo, that was 5 years ago. I would do that again

I was told massive amounts of antioxidants from supplements can make chemo not work the way it is supposed to work. I can't even drink green tea.

My ONC also said no supplements during chemo. Vitamin C from a natural source would be fine-- like other s mentioned ,my ONC said to get my nutrients from food sources not supplements.

Best to run it by your ONC .

While on chemo ask your DR what you can take. I suggest juicing I use champion juicer. Your body will use the nutrients better than supplements.

Body dose not store vitamin C so what ever it is not used will be out. My college Biology instructor advised to take a vitamin c each day anyway for some reason I still do:)
