I also was switched to Abraxane after 3 rounds of Piclataxel. I had a severe skin reaction to Piclataxel which was a severe rash on my legs and arms. I still have serious constipation with Abraxane, but overall feel better with it.

I'm getting abraxane. I had allergic reaction the minute Taxol hit my system. Abraxane doesn't have the solvents in it

Yes. I had Stevens Johnson syndrome. I stopped to heal about 2 months I think. Then we switched to Xeloda for the remainder of the course. I only got through one Taxol/Doxil treatment.

The ginger tea is all that helped for my nausea on taxol,chemo,Xeloda.
