Has Anyone Had To Stop Carboplatein Because Of Low Blood Counts?
I am part of a Clinical Trial that did 4 rounds of AC followed by 12 weeks of Taxol with 4 Carboplatein's every 3 rd week. My last Carboplatein was October 24th. my WBC and ANC counts have declined steadily for 3 weeks. Today my ONC said they were going to stop the Carboplatein and just do 9 more weeks of Taxol. He said my Neutrophil ANC was taking way too long to come up and he felt the chemo could do permanent damage to my bone marrow. Has anyone had this happen?
I diffuse them too at night
I had one half dose of carboplatin 200mg. It dropped my white blood count too low so my Dr Didn't do it last time
I just was in AC and taxol so I never had that issue. Other crazy side affects tho
I like the frankenscence and myrr idea. I have been defusing them. I will try using them in my coconut oil..
@A MyBCTeam Member I take B-6, B-12, Tumeric and ALA for my neuropayhy. I also am using essentialmoils like Frankencense and Myrth mixed into hemp oil that I rub on my fingers and feet. My neuropathy seems to be OK in the morning, just stiff fingers but gets worse the more I exerxise and move theoughout the day.
