What Are The Benefits Of Every Other Week Taxol Treatments?
I had weekly taxol and every three weeks herceptin, perjeta, and taxoterefor a total of 12 weeks and I did fine with it. The AC has been tougher but only one more of those to go. My experience is that it's all cumulative so I was more and more fatigued. Maybe every two weeks will allow more recovery time and you won't have so much fatigue.
My ONC suggested weekly Taxol because it is suppose to cause less neuropathy.

Looks like from the goal standpoint, there's little difference (1%). Factors that may sway probably relate more to the patient-personal schedule, toxicity and ablility to endure, etc.
Do ask your onco specifically why she thinks biweekly is indicated for YOU. if it boils down to simply habit then you may want to look carefully at the side effects of each to determine what would be the most tolerable.

My doctor told me she had me do weekly treatments because it's easier on the body. You're constandkt given a loeer disage as opposed to your body getting hit up with something. Going back to "normal" for a week, only to get hit uo again. As she put it, "your bidy doesn't bottom
Out."
I am finding it unbearable to be on these hormone blockers. I know for everyone it is different. Also find in it extremely challenging to work with the insomnia, depression, brain fog and bone pain. I am seriously considering the naturopath way.ugh!
