Thank you for your positive response. I am sitting in the Dr's office right now waiting to see her. I am in so much pain today. The meds are only working a little. I then have a radiation treatment after this. My stomach is growling because I'm hungry. But the sun is shining and it's a beautiful warm day. I love where I live. I was born and raised here and I do take for granted what other people come to our town to see and do. I will try to get some pictures. Have a blessed day everyone

Shirley, I am so sorry for your diagnosis and that the doctor did not follow your problems. I am also surprised that your pharmacy did not catch the interaction between the drugs. My prayers are with you. Stay strong!

@A MyBCTeam Member @A MyBCTeam Member I was on Tamoxifen after I finished all my treatments in 2013. Unfortunately I started losing weight and my fatigue never went away. I kept telling my onc but she never did anything about it. Finally she did a bone scan because I kept telling her over and over how much pain I had. Now I HAVE stage 4 breast cancer metastatic to my bones. She told me the Tamoxifen went against me. That and Celexa don't work together so beware if that is what you are taking. I will add you both to my team. Please take care and have a wonderful night!!!

I have the same symptoms, but I'm on letrozole (aromatase inhibitors). I'm waiting to see if I qualify for the FRAN Study, which uses a nitrate medication skin patch for hot flashes. Not sure what to do about the weight though, other than try to exercise more and eat better.

I started tamoxifen February 1st and I'm doing well on it. Sometimes I can feel a little flushed, but no sweating really. I have a very physical job and in addition I do exercise and go to WW. Since March, I lost almost 25 lbs, could've been more if I followed the set daily points. My oncologist said, although I don't really have any hotflashes, the tamoxifen works. If it continues like this, I'll consider myself very lucky.
