Dignicap And T/C - 4 Rounds
I have decided that I am going to use a cold cap no matter what, due to the Taxotere. Although I do hope to have some success. I am now trying to determine if the dignicap or manual caps -
Has anyone used Dignicap with 4 Rounds of T/C? If so, could you share your experience and how long you kept the cap on post treatment?
TC = Docetaxel + Cyclophosphamide
I tried Dignicap with my Enhertu treatments, and it didn't work at all. I spent $1200 and lost all of my beautiful, thick, curly hair. What a waste of time and $$$!
Im also scared of the hair lose but decided im not doing xtra been through enough last 2 mts im get cute lil wraps & caps its about get rid the cancer to me that most important .Hair will grow back eventually
I used Penguin Cold Caps which were manual caps. Worked great and I was able to keep all of my hair, but if I had the choice, I would have gone with Dignicap because you don't have to worry about switching the caps out every 25 minutes (1 hour before beginning chemo, 3 hours during, and 4 hours after for a total of 8 hours long for me), lugging around a ton of dry ice, making sure you get the temperature right, or having 2-3 people assist you with this whole process.
I Am Having Only 4 Rounds Of T/C Has Anyone Else Had Only 4 Instead Of 6?
Next Thursday I'm Having My Second Chemo Treatment. I Still Have My Hair...is This Normal? Should I Expect To Lose It All This Next Time?
Has Anyone Tried Dignicap During Chemo? Did It Work And What Was Your Experience?
