Has Anyone Tried Dignicap During Chemo? Did It Work And What Was Your Experience?
I did some research about this beforehand and there appeared to be a strong possibility that I would lose my hair regardless. Therefore I didn't get one. I lost my shoulder length blonde hair. It didn't bother me and I thought it might. I had wigs and then I had the fun of having short styles that I would never try myself. It is now 13 months later and it has almost made it to my shoulders again but it is curly. The curly is growing out too though.
Don't waste your money. I spent $1200 for Dignicap, and I have lost most of my thick, beautiful, curly hair. It didn't work at all. Plus, added extra time to my Enhertu treatments.
Very disappointing results with Dignicap. Was told "you'll lose some hair, but it won't be noticeable when you go out in public." Not true. After 2 sessions, I have lost most of my beautiful hair and I am very depressed. I have 2 very uncomfortable wigs and some hats that won't look so cute anymore when the rest of my now very thin, stringy, gray hair falls out. They are trying to convince me to keep paying for the cold caps, to help my hair grow back sometime in the distant future, but I don't know if it's worth it.
Yes I did the cap did have some loss but not noticeable by others, just me Finnish chemo 9 wks ago still waiting for my new hair to come fill in thin area, well worth it .i think !!
Thanks for your response- all helpful!
