A field of hair typically is in a staggered growth pattern-that is, a percentage is always in shed phase, while others are at various points in the growth stage. Post chemo, they all erupt at once, which seems rather thick. The hairs will mature and reach she’d stage at approximately the same time, so be prepared to look down there are suddenly find they it’s actually a little sparse-looking. No matter-shortly, the hairs will find their usual staggered pattern and become consistent in thickness.
This goes for hair everywhere-my head hair had an alarming fall at about 14 months post tx. It eventually regulated.
