Anyone Have Issues With Faslodex?

A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sullivan, IN

I have been on faslodex monthly injections as maintenance for a little over 7 years. My cancer broke thru while I was on tamoxifen so wondering if anyone has had a breakthrough while on this. I am a 3x survivor stage 4

If not for Faslodex I would have to do chemo for the rest of my life. The key is finding a good nurse that knows how to give good IM injections. After awhile they don't hurt nearly as bad. I have to have one in each butt cheek, you may only have to have one. It is oil based & thick is why it hurts a little...good luck hon & prayers

Pink lady. Yes faslodex are painful. I have a lot of scar tissue built up in my behind, they have to give them IM. But I must be lucky, I have had no serious issues with it & so far my cancer is in remission...hugs
