I have not heard of a shower shirt. I used a mesh bag that went around my neck, it had pockets for the drain tubes. I worked great. I found it on Amazon.

I wish that was available for me when I had my surgery. I had sponge baths for months and my husband bought a handheld and wrapped me in plastic wrap a few times that worked a bit.

The hospital gave me 2 mesh aprons styled like a waitress' apron, or the carpenters nail apron at Lowes. It tied around my waist, and had two pockets to put the drains in. Because the aprons were mesh, I could wear one under clothes, and keep one for the shower (dried super quick!) Hugs!

I had a shower shirt it was a waste of money because the dr said by the weekend you can shower so just to hold the drains like lynette stated the mesh bag just to hold drains … i found that they ran small …. Ive had a billateral masectomy , then a necrocis surgery, then an incapsulation revision, then a infectious tissue removal… and thank you god on the 19th the implant placement surgery and really there was no need for the shower shirt i hope that helps

I just used a lanyard that the hospital gave me. Worked just fine. 🙂
