Sounds familiar. My gyn was not concerned and the radiologist was not concerned. The mass in my right breast was not supposed to be cancer. But they saw it was growing when they did s followup mammogram 6 months later. Duh. Even the doctor who did the biopsy was surprised that it was cancer. Surprise!

Diane, my mammogram showed asymmetrical tissue and my GYN wasn’t concerned. I went in for the 6 mo. follow up radiation tech recommended. After that follow up they recommended another 6 mo. follow up and again my dr was not concerned. I went back and a biopsy was recommended, we caught it early. I haven’t been able to go back to my old GYN because I’m afraid of what I would say to her. Thank God I followed my gut and went back. By the this time I was due for my yearly mammogram and they found the same asymmetrical tissue in the other breast. The tissue was removed during my surgery and it showed no cancer. Follow your gut, ask questions…and hang in there. 🫶
