I was very tired and achy after the first treatment, but for the next two made sure to hydrate more. I did not notice any side effects for the next two treatments.

Hi Shalive, my plan for Zometa was changed. I didn't get a zometa treatment, but received an injection of Xgeva. It was kind of a last minute change, insurance may have been involved, but doc also felt this was a better option.
I believe I will receive another injection for my next visit in May.
So far reasonably good, I'm 2 weeks post treatment and worst effects I'm currently having is what I consider bone pain (back pain that stays in same spot near my biopsy site and I think it could be where the lesion is) and some other joint pain (fingers, neck and shoulders).
Pain eases with Tylenol though so thats a good thing. I do feel I'm more tired.
