A MyBCTeam Member asked a question 💭

Women who just found out they have Breast cancer need to understand the danger of these drugs long before their doctors suggest they take them.

Reclast & Zometa is the brand of zoledronic acid* given by injection

Xgeva & Prolia are brand names of denosumab given by infusion

My Oncologist prescribed Zolendronic acid and denosumab
After research I declined both.

Women have to know these drugs used to protect and treat bone problems have bad irreversible side effects

Here is the conversation on bone drugs @A MyBCTeam Member
In the post there is another link about Vitamin D3 / k2 that basically is what most of us are doing instead of the bone drugs.

I take apricot seeds almost daily. 1 seed per 10 lbs of body weight so I'm taking 15 a day. They are extremely bitter but if they help fight cancer, who cares. I've been taking them for a while with no ill effects. They also sell B17 supplements but I prefer straight from the source. If you have smoothies, you can include in that too

I have heard of apricot seeds. They do have the minuscule amount of arsenic but there are indigenous people who consume those their whole lives and don’t die from arsenic or have cancer. It’s interesting to hear a real story of remission about this though.
And yes Susan, you definitely can take all those supplements and even more. Don’t forget to add in Curcuma (several tablets). That’s very anti-inflammatory and not only helps prevent cancer but can also help with your joints. Maybe add in Omega 3 (fish oil) supplements as those help with joints! K2 is to make sure vit D3 helps absorb calcium into your bones and not let it circulate in your veins and build up deposits (atherosclerosis). So all of these go together. Don’t worry about taking higher-than-normal doses too. Cancer patients need a lot more of those than regular people. Hope this helps. Sending hugs to you and your daughter. You’re both in my prayers 💕

Hello!
@A MyBCTeam Member I found that my joint and muscle pain from Letrozole is relieved from CoQ10. It takes a couple weeks to take full effect but has made a HUGE difference for me. Just thought I would offer it up as an idea for you. I get mine at Sam's Club and right now they have it on sale. I included a picture of the one I specifically take.
Sending positive vibes your way!

@A MyBCTeam Member read the comments about the bone infusions . In the end you make the choice. Just don't think you have follow everything your doctor tells you. You are the boss of you.
