I was put on disability (Florida), and still went to work. I finally actually got tired of it; couldn't work enough to get bonuses or paid holidays and when surgeries came... I'd get no pay. Finally disability sent me to a disability doctor and I hinted that I wanted to work more. I was freed and the place I worked hired me full time and pay for my insurance.

I went on after metastasis to my lung and heart damage from chemo. didn't have a problem getting on it due to being stage iv

@A MyBCTeam Member I had no problem. I'm stage4 MBC, terminal. I had to retire. This is my lifeline. I'm holding my breath that they don't default on the national debt! It could mean a delay in payments!😬🥺

Depending on the state you live in. Some places are harder then others . I am a CNA and i was denied . They will only approve me if i was still getting chemo/ radiation. Or if i am terminal. My lawyer is filing appeal. Good luck !
