Did Anyone Have Bad Shoulder Pain When Having Radiation Treatments For Breast Cancer And Lymph Nodes?

Georgia4 so nice to meet you. My radiation oncologist referred me to an orthopedic surgeon for the shoulder pain. I went today. He says the rotator cuff surgery I had over 20 years ago has failed and raising my arms over my head for 15-20 minutes daily for treatment has aggravated the tendon and caused shoulder impingement tendinitis. I’m on pain meds and will start PT soon.

Actually sis I am being treated for shoulder pain right now ... more doctors smh ... it's funny how it never occurred to me that there may be a connection ... I assumed that it was because of the aromasin ... the joint pain side effect is still terrible ... but heating pads and ice help a lot ... I pray that you feel better!πŸ˜‡
