As soon as you stop Ozenpic, the fat comes right back. I also heard that it can cause pancreatitis and/or permanent paralysis of the stomach and intestines. The way I lost weight was by researching how "sugar feeds cancer"...which caused me to give up candy, cake, all types of desserts. I have had a sweet tooth my whole life. But once I gave up desserts, the weight came off.

I was diagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic when my cancer was found. I did not want to take insulin, so I immediately changed my diet: no carbs (bread, potatoes, pasta), no sugar, reduced salt intake, and began riding a stationery bike. I lost 35 lbs in 5 wks and never went on insulin. Tough to get used to, but now I just don't miss it anymore. Not sure if any of the meds you're on influence your weight, but this is what I did to drop the pounds. Hope this helps. Take care.

This may be my problem, too. I'm 77, and I was already overweight. But after my surgeries and radiation for breast cancer, I had total knee replacement surgery. Even walking was a problem for awhile. Sugar is probably my worst enemy. I'm "pre-diabetic" and I just need to give up sweets. That may be my only help to lose.

I tried Ozempic. Didn't lose much weight but had bad nausea and terrible constipation. Back to diet and exercise. I tried the fasting-mimicking diet - lots of leafy greens, no bread/cakes/pastries, vegan - for 5 days and have now adapted my normal diet by having more leafy greens, more beans, low amounts of meat and fish, and low amounts of high-fibre bread. A DIY fasting-mimicking diet is on the internet (you don't have to buy the meal replacement powders). I'm losing weight slowly.
