I have been wearing a mask too when I have to be around people outside to avoid catching a cold or virus. I decided to delay getting a booster until after my radiation therapy so I have to be extra careful. Hugs to all my pink sisters on this group😘
Still wear my mask when in public places. Any protection to ward off Covid, RSV, Flu, common cold, etc.. appreciated. I have enough to worry about and deal with!! A mask is easy! Wishing all my pink sisters and brothers a day filled with inner peace. For me, wearing a mask is adds to my inner peace. I do believe it is a personal choice. However,..................
At 62 I started to get my vaccinations. Way before I got breast cancer. Before that I hesitated. We were at the time going to a dance club and let's just say some people let their germs fly all over the place. They would have bronchitis ,cold, etc and just come over to you and hug you or give you a kiss on the cheek and tell you after wards they have something. Plus some had other gross things they did. Not that I'm a germaphobic but proper health practices are a no brain er . It got to the point I brought a package of disinfecting wipes to wipe down or chairs and the table we sat at. Plus I wore surgical gloves. From then on I get all my necessary shots even when I was on chemotherapy as for radiation treatments I was finished with that by the time the next set of shots came out.
My own medical onocolgist came down with covid. He couldn't make the time in his schedule to even get the shot. That needless to say was scary and alarming. He told this after my physical examination ,no mask, and touch me with no gloves on. Even know somewhat he is a great doctor but sometimes I wonder. Now the measles are starting on the up take. We can't wrap up our selves in plastic wrap or bubble wrap but if you can I would highly recommend getting vaccinated. Some protection is better than none. Especially in some places there's doctor shortages and nurse shortages.🤪🎭
