I have my survivorship plan and am on AI for 5 years too. It just lets you know what to expect going forward (appts. etc.)

The first cancer after lumpectomy and radiation, I was on tamoxifen for 5 yrs. I got cancer in my other breast and was put on an aromatase inhibitors for 10yrs. It has been close to 5 yrs with 5 more to go if I stay on it. Your doctor will look at your type of cancer and recommend the best treatment. It is not the same for each individual .

@A MyBCTeam Member - Life after treatment - does the treatment include taking anti-hormone pills for 5-10 years or that’s not included in “treatment”?

We are all survivors as long as we are still alive. Don't be concerned about the terminology. It is part of after care.
