Hi Sue. It's radiation dermatitis. I was told to use only hydrocortisone and moisturizer. Ugh. Nights are the worst with itching and burning. I'm only using Weleda calendula baby wash as well. They also me to use cool compresses. Only 3 more after today thank God. I'm miserable!!! Thanks for asking 🙂

My doctor recommended aquaphor and worked like a charm

I used Udderly Smooth Cream. My Radiologist told me to use it. Can get on Amazon or Ace Hardware.

If you talk to your doctors on call or on Monday they may be able to prescribe something for you. I had all over hives this winter to something unknown and I was prescribed an anti itch med. It was a huge relief because I had opened wounds from the itch. Hopefully you can find something thru the weekend or maybe go to your local urgent care or emergency room if you need to.

Call them early Monday and say that you need someone to look at this before your next radiation treatment. NP or nurse even. They need to be aware and give the go ahead.
