Holiday From Hormone Blockers
I've noticed quite a few women mention they are presently taking a 2 week 'vacation' from their hormone blockers. Some will be trying a new drug and others will return to taking the same drug they have been taking.
Will all the side effects come back right away once estrogen is being depleted again ? How did your two weeks off go? What side effects got better and what side effects remained during those 2 off weeks?
Such damn poison they give us.
Wow, there really seems to be no or very little data in relation to side effects . In a way that doesn't really surprise me since no one in the medical profession seems to give much prevalence to side effects. They either blame side effects on something else or brush them off. This really angers me because it proves they really aren't about the patients well being and more about pushing drugs when Pharma comes knocking at their door.
No, I am not saying the drugs aren't affective and yes the list of side effects is known to all of us. I am saying when women tell their doctors they are in pain, many doctors will either brush it off or blame it on something else. And they certainly don't hand out pain drugs like they do everything else. And I don't care what their reasoning is about pain drugs, if they write scripts for these toxic drugs then need not worry about pain drugs.
It would take some pretty severe side effects for me to stop taking Anastrozole. I've lived with joint and back pain for years due to arthritis. So far the only additional thing I've noticed with the AIs is hot flashes but they are tolerable. I also have fatigue some days.
I've had rapid heart beat didn't know Anasterzole cause this I should have figured as much. Yes the meds keep us living but my quality of life.....not so good but I know it can be worse
