Thanks Joan. My oncologist strongly believes these are false positives, but he supports me having more scans anyway. Mostly because I found a new lump. We’ll see.
My former oncologist (now retired) used to request those. My current oncologist does not because she says the false positives just send us on a goose chase. I sort of miss having them though.

I have for 12 years and did not have a false positive. I know it happens so the if they were positive scans would be done or drawn again. However, my new oncologist does not due them. I find that stressful!
