Letrozole And Urinary Tract Infections

Letrosole is a really good effective drug, in fact it is a wonder drug. With the side effects there are always medications to deal with that so don’t worry. I had a urinary and throat infection at the same time when I first took Letrosole but antibiotics cleared the problem quickly. Please speak to your Oncologist if in doubt or the Specialist nurses who can relay your concerns. Please don’t worry. Good luck and let us know how you get on. 🤗👍
UTI’s are also common if you are taking Anastrozole.
Absolutely! Very common side effect.
Another thought...
My OB-GYN and Sexual Health MD both recommend using coconut oil all over the vulvar area 1-2 times a day to keep everything moist and hydrated as well. That is the larger outer lips and smaller inner lips, it is also fine to use inside the vagina too. Just a FYI.
The products from AZO are very good. I used the pain relief one while waiting for my antibiotic to kick in when I had a UTI recently.
