I use a deodorant called Primal Pit Paste. You can find on Amazon and it's all natural, zero aluminum and they have Baking Soda or no baking soda options. Works like a charm and with no toxicity. I had a friend who had bc and the pathology showed traces of aluminum.

I have never heard this, and I work in a breast cancer clinic. We caution patients during chemo and radiation, their skin may be sensitive, so non scented soaps and lotions might help.
Wishing you well!

Yes that’s true. It’s because many have very chemical ingredients that get absorbed by the skin and then go into your blood. I especially would limit deodorant and buy an organic one! Candles pollute the air and enter your airways, exposing your body and lungs again to toxins. You want to limit your exposure to pollutants that you can control.

Hi! You could double check with your care team but just to be safe I use Dove advanced care unscented sensitive antiperspirant deodorant, Ivory sensitive skin body wash that is fragrance free and CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion (blue and white bottle) that is also fragrance free. All 3 have worked great for me. Hope this helps!

Your brother's concerns might be related to the sensitivity of your skin, especially if you are undergoing or have undergone breast cancer treatment. Here are some key points from the knowledge base:

- Perfumes and Lotions: It's best to avoid strongly scented products directly on treated areas, as they can cause irritation. Look for "fragrance-free" products instead of "unscented" ones.
- Deodorants: After breast cancer surgery, it's recommended to use gentle, all-natural deodorants. Avoid ingredients like aluminum salts, parabens, fragrances, propylene glycol, and lanolin.
- Candles: The knowledge base does not mention anything specific about burning candles.

For personalized advice, it's always best to consult with your doctor or oncologist.
