That depends on a couple of factors. Aromatase inhibitors are given to women whose cancer is hormone receptor positive and typically to post menopausal women. Even post menopausal women produce estrogen but in their adipose cells not their ovaries. So having no ovaries does not mean a women has quit producing estrogen. BUT your tumor has to be the kind that "feeds" off hormones - called hormone receptor positive in test results to benefit from aromatase inhibitors. Having a bilateral mastectomy does not mean that there are no stray cancer cells out there. So, an aromatase inhibitor's purpose is to "starve" any remaining cancer cells of their estrogen and lower your chances of a reoccurance.

@A MyBCTeam Member, not everyone has bad side effects. I would put mine in the mild category. I have seen women on this site say they had no side effects, then I have seen people with poor quality of life side effects. Doctors can't predict what your side effects will be. I would suggest at least giving them a try if your Dr. recommends them. And there are different AI's. Some people have had problems with one, but switched to another and were OK. The biggest PRO is that they do reduce the chances of a reoccurance. My oncologist said they reduce the chance by about 50% and that is what I have read on reputable websites that are linked to reputable studies. Several women on this site they say they have stopped taking the AI's due to side effects have said the side effects went away fairly quickly after stopping. I felt that I had to try them to be able to weigh the pros/cons realistically since all women respond differently. I have had mild side effects, so for me, the pros did out weigh the cons.

Yes. K2 is a vitamin. I ordered both from Wal-Mart .
Get the K2-MK7 NOT the K2-MK4. MK7 helps get the D3 to your bones and not your arteries.
Most of us are on 3000-5000 IU's of D3. Just know the toxic effects. I have been taking both since mid-February. And you take them the same time. Start ASAP so you can get this going.

Vitamin K2-MK7 is a form of vitamin K2 that is widely regarded as being the most efficient and effective form of vitamin K21. It is also known as menaquinone-7 or menatetrenone2. Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble nutrient that is essential for improving bone health and making blood clotting possible3. Vitamin K2-MK7 is the version with the highest bioavailability, meaning it is more easily absorbed and stays active for a longer
time1.
