Like Barbara said, it depends on the stage. Stages 1, 2 or 3, yes. No matter what type, stage 4 is not curable, but it can be managed for many, many years.
I was diagnosed 2018, TNBC,, grade 3, stage1, ki-67 85%. I am 5 years 6 months out of treatment. Living life. I pray ever day that I do not recur.
Wishing you well!

Hi Connie. What do you mean by survivable? Every type of Breast cancer can be successfully eliminated but it also depends on some factors. Stage, grade, tumor markers etc. TNBC is more aggressive & I believe its treated with chemo. I wish I could be helpful, but these kinds of questions are difficult to answer because everyone is different as I mentioned the different factors that determine an adequate prognosis. I think its best not to think about how long can you live and just focus on today and your treatment. You are here now. Tomorrow is another story, none of us know how long we will survive with our cancers.

- Localized TNBC: 91% five-year survival rate.
- Regional TNBC: 65% five-year survival rate.
- Distant (metastatic) TNBC: 12% five-year survival rate.
