The same thing happened to me with my big toe nail. It felt sore to pressure at first, then I noticed a clear fluid coming out, which seemed to release the pressure. Slowly my big toe nail is turning black, but does not hurt anymore. I had bad neuropathy of my feet, so my oncologist stopped my taxol treatments at 9.

Same happened to me. I never actually lost my nails but they lifted from the nail beds. I pushed Neosporin down into them and kept band aids around them. You should see the doc though.

This has happened to my fingernails and the odor is terrible. I got an antibiotic from my regular doctor but that doesn't work. I find that keeping them clean with peroxide does help some.

Ask your doc to adjust your taxol. When I started getting numbness in my toes, my oncologist adjusted the dosage.
