I waited 6 weeks

I had 4 weeks between chemo and radiation starting with my expander swap out sx 3 weeks after chemo allowing a week to recover.

Have you already met with a radiologist? I met with mine right before chemo, and then called to schedule my next consult and mapping at my 3rd taxol (I had 4 treatments, did them ever other week). They scheduled me my consult and mapping 2 weeks after last treatment, said it's usually 7-10 days after for them to have it ready, and started radiation 3 days shy of 4 weeks out of chemo. However! Thy initially planned to start me the Wednesday of the prior week, but I had my hysterectomy and they wanted to wait a few days to start. Initially when I called to schedule the appointment they said it's usually right about a month once they get it all done and started.

My oncologist recommended taking a month off between chemo and radiation. I was having none of that! Diagnosed in March 2010, I was determined to have all treatment completed before the holidays. My last chemo treatment was September 6th, and my first radiation treatment was September 25th. Allow yourself the time you want/ need- but push for your schedule as much as is reasonable.
