Cyste In Ovary
After chemo and radiation I am on tamoxifen since May 2014. I do not have my period anymore. I have never had cysts on my ovaries but now I have a cyste on my left ovary which does not go away. Therefore my doctor suggested to remove my ovaries in order to check the cyste. He says the possibility of the cyste being malign is less than 1 percent. I had a hysterectomy in 2007and kept my ovaries. I too had a cyst that they removed.

I had my ovaries removed about a month ago so that I could take the aromatase inhibitor. I had a large cyst on my ovary, but the pathology was fine. I feel fine and am glad I did it. One less thing to worry about.
I was told that breast cancer and ovarian cancer go hand in hand. So when I was diagnosed with BC nine years ago, I had both ovaries removed at that time also. My BC has metastasized to my bone and skin. I've been an aromatase inhibitors for five years. You are so very young. My advice would be to have the ovarian cyst removed. Just my opinion, and just trying to help. Big hugs to you.
