Port Infection
Has anyone had a port infection?
My pot became infected. I had 4 days of Iv antibiotics. Port removal. Pic line inserted. And chemo now continued along with oral antibiotics.
Yes same situation chest port infection. Mine was removed during a 5 day stay in the hospital. Was given Levaquin antibiotics which gave me the worst joint pain and muscle spasms until my surgeon told me to stop taking it. I now have a PICC line in my upper right arm for the chemo treatments.
I had an infection in my chest port. Had it removed and a new one put on the inside of my upper left arm.
