Well, I've promised to answer all questions truthfully, but some are not easy. My treatments were given every three weeks. I had mouth sores from Taxol/Carboplatin for two years and I have permanent Neuropathy in my hands and feet. I had 6 treatments of Adriamyacin/Cytoxan and have permanent heart damage (Congestive Heart Failure) I wish I had a more positive report for you, my friend. I will say, that my BC has been in remission since 2003. Life is precious, my friend. But it will be altered by these drugs. Insist on close monitoring of your heart, although my symptoms didn't appear until years later from A/C.
My Neuropathy appeared immediately with Taxol, and got worse and worse. It isn't as intense now,(3 years out), but it's permanent. You can refuse anything, and substitute another drug if you want to. I pray you do well, and don't get my side effects, but hang on to your drawers, A/C is tough to take.💗💗💗

I had close to the same Chemo treatments as you. I am a year out now and these are my side effects I got stuck with. Neuropathy in both hands and feet, mostly in my toes and a little part of the top of my feet. my 2 big toe nails feel off but grew right back. I gained weight from the chemo. or the steroids possibly. At least I wasn't sick and could eat right? my muscles have some serious atrophy from being down for most of the year. I had thrush in my mouth. I think the most devistating part about the permanent side effects for me is, and I know a lot of people think I am petty about this but my hair was blonde, naturally curly like a spiral. Well,,,It grew back in half gray which would be fine but it is half straight on the right side top and back and the left side is way beyond curly, it is a matted retarded curly mess. 3 beauticians later, totally baffled. No one knows how to help me, so short hair for me from now on. lol. Damn chemo. BUT...I am alivee and in remission and just waiting for my reconstruction surgery next. Life is good, Thank God!!!!!

I had 4 rounds of dose-dense Adriomycin/Cytoxin and it was tough--lots of nausea, fatigue, mouth sores and metallic taste. I'm on round 8 of 12 of Taxol and it has been much easier on my body. I have only had mild fatigue and mouth sores, no neuropathy or nausea. Best of luck. I agree everyone is different.

I met a lady last week who did A/C/T and had very little fatigue and only nausea the first night of the first treatment. She finished chemo and has a little neuropathy. Other than that she was great. She worked during her treatments.
Everyone is different.
