Anyone Getting Bruising From Treatment? Oncologist Says It's From The Kadcyla - I'm Looking Like I Was In A Boxing Tournament!
I have these bruises all over my arms and legs and someone actually commented that I looked like I had been in a boxing tournament! My oncologist says it's from the Kadcyla chemo. Does this ever stop or does anyone know how to get rid of bruises faster?? I can't be wearing long sleeves when the temperature outside is in the 90s!! Any advice???
@A MyBCTeam Member - I read in another post you are taking curcumin for joint pain caused by inflammation. Curcumin is a blood thinner. It could be causing the excessive bruising. I don't know if my other post popped in for you yet. Sometimes it takes a while. But I stopped taking it as I found out that my Ibrance warns against taking medications such as aspirin or other drugs that thin the blood.
I also bruise very easy even 22 years later
@A MyBCTeam Member - Good grief, that thin blood. I would definitely get some advise on what a good dose for your already thin blood is. If the chemo is thinning it too you are getting a double whammy outside of what you have naturally. Having thin blood can cause trouble. I am sure you are already aware. Stay the course that is advised by your doc. Best wishes.
If people look at you weird just tell them you should see the other guy ππ±. Hang in thereπ πΌπ
