Anyone On Here Taking Cartia Or Carvividol? Pros And Cons Of Taking Either Of These Blood Pressure Medicines.

I have been on coreg since it was introduced over 20 years ago. I have cardiomyopathy likely from adriamyacin and have seen by ejection fraction improve. My dose is low. I was on lisinpril but it started giving me a cough so they switched me to Losartan. I don't seem to have any issues with either of the drugs.

I take Carvedilol 2x daily for blood pressure.
I have not noticed any negative side effects so far.

I have been taking 50mg metoprolol (time released) for 15yrs now….before during and now post chemotherapy, without any issues.

@A MyBCTeam Member, you're the first person I've come across with my story! Adriamycin 9 years ago for breast cancer, heart failure 4 years ago. My EF was down to 9-10 when found. I have a pacemaker and take 9 scripts a day, including carvedilol 2x. My EF is back to 40+ over the 4 years, so from death's door to functional.

With the number of meds I take, it's hard to tell what side effects come from which one or which combination, but my blood pressure is very stable.
