Hello my sisters! As promised I am listing resources that my Medicare broker printed out to help with various medical costs and other needs... meds, co-pays, financial assistance, free counseling services, etc. ( 1)- Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition (CFAC)- searchable database of national and regional organizations that provide financial assistance and other services for people with cancer. (2) NeedyMeds- helps patients without prescription coverage by providing information about assistance programs for prescription medications at no cost. (3) CancerCare (866-552-6729) for guidance re: co-pays, guidance and referrals for additional help. (4) Patient Access Network (866-316-7263) assists patients who cannot access treatments they need because of out-of-pocket care costs like deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance. (5) Patient Advocate Foundation (800-532-5274) offers a co-payments relief program and seeks to ensure patients access to care.(6) Partnership for Prescription Assistance (888-477-2669) matches patients to programs offering free or low-cost prescription medications. Also, CancerCare professional oncology social workers can refer patients for financial assistance and to organizations that offer free counseling services. (7) Komen Treatment Assistance Fund (877-465-6636) Service provides financial assistance/Grants medical expenses for low-income or uninsured breast cancer survivors. (8) American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) Breast cancer assistance program for screening, testing, financial assistance/grants (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) or 844-219-2223). (9) Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition(TBCC)- Emergency Access Fund (615-377-8777) Provides financial assistance/Grants for residents diagnosed with Breast cancer, undergoing treatment, and in financial need due to inability to work and/or mounting medical expenses, currently while undergoing treatment. (10) Pfizer RxPathways (844-989-7284) Provides patient support assistance for medications made by Pfizer ex: Ibrance. I hope this information helps someone in need! I love my sisters!
