masthead makes amazing bras for after surgery, they have small rings that hang from them to support the drains. They're separate from your clothing that way so can't catch when you sit or stand, and the rings connect easily to a lanyard or band for showering.

I ordered more of the mastectomy binders after my double mastectomy. (Amazon) I ordered button pajamas from SHEIN. I relied on the binders, they really helped. I had very loose drawstring pants and I put my drains in the pockets when I went out. I only had my drains for two weeks. But I had no reconstruction.

I had both and preferred the inside pockets. I liked having the drains sit at my sides and it helped a little at night. I only had a couple since during the day I wore zip up hoodies inside out and they worked great-don’t spend money on special hoodies - wearing normal ones inside out is the same. Good luck to you!! The pink bra they sent me home with had rings attached for the drains to hang from, and honestly that is mostly what I used, with a large button up shirt over. I got a couple shirts with the interior drain pockets but didn’t find them any more useful than just using the prescribed bra with the rings.
