Have U Ever Asked Ur Dr How Much Tissue They Should Take Around A Cancer Area , I Was Told It’s Guess Work ?

Different with lumpectomies as there are guidelines as to amount of clear tissue there should be around all perimeters.
@A MyBCTeam Member yes I had wires inserted a day before to accurately pinpoint the location of the tumor. I only had one surgery with 3mm margin that was clear. My surgeon made an incision through my nipple and performed the surgery from there
