Allergic Reaction? Any Rash Outbreak With Taxol?

Hi All, Has anyone had an allergic reaction from Taxol? I have a itchy rash outbreak under both armpits.

My Oncologist prescribed some steroids which I've taken the 7 day supply and I have anti itch creme along with Benedryl (which only make me sleepy). It seem like it was helping at first but the rash pumps are gone but my armpits are still itchy.

FYI - I was diagnosis is Triple Negative Breast Cancer and I'm I did 8 rounds of AC and now I'm on 12 rounds of Taxol; I've done 9 out 12... so… read more

After my weekly infusions I get a red rash like a severe sunburn on my cheeks. My scalp also stings for a few days. I hope your rash gets better, maybe try taking Benadryl. 🙏❤️

@A MyBCTeam Member please try the combination of histamine release blockers ie OTC H1 blocker and H2 blocker like cetirizine (generic Zyrtec) and famotidine (generic Pepcid) respectivel. It might help by taking them once a day

I also have a rash from taxol. Red raised spots on arms, legs, and back. I was prescribed kenalog cream. Helps very little but I keep using it. 2 more taxol treatments. Hopefully the rash gets better quickly.😊
