Kisqali, Ibrance, and Verzenio are all CDK4/6 inhibitors used in the treatment of breast cancer. Here are some details about each:

- Kisqali (Ribociclib): Approved by the FDA for hormone receptor (HR)-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer in combination with an aromatase inhibitor in postmenopausal women. Common side effects include low blood cell count, nausea, infections, fatigue, diarrhea, vomiting, hair loss, headache, constipation, rash, and cough. Rare but serious side effects include lung disease, skin reactions, liver damage, severe birth defects, changes in heart rhythm, and severe blood cell disorders.

- Ibrance (Palbociclib): Prevented cancer progression for 10 months longer compared to control treatment, according to the FDA.

- Verzenio (Abemaciclib): Can be taken as a pill every day without any other treatments. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, infections, abdominal pain, tiredness, and neutropenia (low white blood cell counts). Hair loss is the most frequent skin-related side effect.

Regarding costs, the specific expenses for these medications can vary widely based on factors such as insurance coverage, location, and specific healthcare plans. For precise cost information, it is best to consult with your healthcare provider or insurance company.
