Reconstruction Wings Removal
Good morning Maggie, I don't really understand what an 'angel wing' is but it sounds like extra skin of some sort after surgery. I would seek a 2nd opinion for sure. One problem I see is its not related to cancer removal and insurance might view it as a cosmetic problem and refuse to pay for it. This would need a doctor to word it correctly to get them to pay.
Omg yes! I have..I hate! They can be removed and mine are being removed when I do reconstruction. It is covered by insurance. The only people I e met that still have them went to a Dr that didn’t specialized in breast reconstruction. I think they cut in a ‘L’ to fix it. It is also extra fat that the surgeon can use to soften the look of the implants. Get a 2nd opinion
Mostly easy arm stretches, my PA had me watch some YouTube videos. There are lots to chose from Be careful and ask if they are right for you. My cancer was close to breast bone and I did not have to have lymph nodes removed this time. Good luck!
Both sides are large but the side that had cancer is worse. What exercise works that area?
My BLM was 8 weeks ago and I have angel wing mostly on my right (noncancerous side) My Doctor said he could fix it down the line and my insurance should cover it. It hurt very badly at the beginning but has gotten better every day with exercise. If I can lose more weight it will be better and I can decide.
